Thanksgiving.

Crawling on a blade of sorrow
Dancing through joy’s shining crease
Reeling from bone shattering betrayal
Drinking deep from springs of peace

Tears I’ve shed on many pillows
leaking from a wounded soul
Counted, measured, held as precious
til the day You make us whole

Every day You’ve been beside me
even when I couldn’t see
Know every scar upon this body
Hear each and every silent plea

I will sing a song of praise
thanksgiving from my deepest heart
of He who sees me, knows me, heals me
the One who loves my every part
